50P10 Manu Immobil / 50P11 Manu Immobil Long
Direction of strap closures
The Wrist positioning Orthoses are delivered preset for right-hand fitting. If need be, the direction of strap
closures can be turned (from inside to outside or from outside to inside) as follows. First open all hook and
loop closures. Remove the pad inclusive the three Velcro points (fig. 4). Remove, turn them and re-assemble
the straps. Make sure that the plastic loops are located on the underside of the orthosis.
Length of straps
All straps can be trimmed if necessary. For this purpose undo the hook and loop closures of the plastic
loop of the respective strap, trim the strap and re-attach the plastic loop.
Positioning of the finger strap
(with 50P11 only)
If necessary, individually position the finger strap through a wide slot on the underside of the orthosis. Re-
move the pad of the orthosis, move the finger strap to the desired position and re-attach the pad.
Upon delivery of the orthosis to the patient, the orthosis must be tested for correct fit. Upon delivery of the
product, the patient is to be instructed in the operation of the 50P10 Manu Immobil and 50P11 Manu Im-
mobil Long wrist positioning orthoses.
