9.2 CE-Konformität
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der europäischen Richtlinie 93/42/EWG
für Medizinprodukte. Aufgrund der Klassifizierungskriterien nach Anhang IX
dieser Richtlinie wurde das Produkt in die Klasse I eingestuft. Die Konfor-
mitätserklärung wurde deshalb vom Hersteller in alleiniger Verantwortung
gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt.

The MyoWrist Transcarpal 10V38=* is to be used exclusively for exo prosthetic
fitting of the upper limb in combination with a 8E44=* Transcarpal-Hand.
It provides individual flexion and extension of the wrist joint as well as fixation
in 5 different positions, in 20° increments. This way it supports the physio-
logically correct posture when working with the prosthesis and it particularly
reduces the need for unnatural compensating movements when performing
longer monotonous works.
For fitting long residual limbs the MyoWrist Transcarpal 10V38=* is con-
nected to the 9S266 Chassis with Quick-Disconnect Wrist.
For the fitting of short and medium residual limbs combination with the
8R1 Endoskeletal-Adapter is
recommended.
In both cases passive pro- and supination is possible thanks to the Quick-
Disconnect Wrist.
In many cases electromotoric pro- and supination
recommends in combination with the optional 10S17 Electric Wrist Rotator.
