Drive Motor Removal
CAUTION
ENSURE THE BATTERY DISCONNECT SWITCH IS IN THE OFF
POSITION BEFORE REMOVING DRIVE MOTOR.
1. Disconnect the motor cable from the power con
-
trol module.
2. Drain the oil out of the unit by removing the cover
plug. Note the condition of the oil, replace if nec
-
essary.
3. Remove the two motor mounting bolts and wash
-
ers.
4. Gently remove the drive motor (1).
