It is important to check the
fi
t of the
Restraint Harness periodically. The
straps must be properly positioned on
your child’s shoulders and thighs
(Photo A).
To adjust the
fi
t of the Restraint
Harness:
1. Place your child in the Infant Car
Seat and determine which pair of
shoulder strap slots are even with
or just below the child’s shoulders
(Photo B).
DO NOT use shoulder strap slots
that are above your child’s shoulders
(Illustration C). With the rear-facing
Infant Car Seat, shoulder straps
positioned in slots above the
shoulders will not hold your child
securely in a sudden stop or crash.
