Change to the driver
src
directory as follows:
cd qlge/

Compile the driver module by issuing the following command:
make install
The binary is installed as follows:
/lib/modules/[KERNEL_VERSION]/kernel/drivers/net/qlge/qlge.[k]o
Note -
The install locations shown in the preceding are the default locations. Some Linux
distributions might use other locations.

Load the module by issuing the following command:
modprobe -v qlge

/etc/sysconfig/kernel

Issue the
mkinitrd
command; for example:
