Important Safety Precautions
When using electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should
always be followed:
1. Carefully read these operating instructions before using the
appliance.
2. This appliance should not be operated before the water tank
is filled.
3. Don not touch hot surfaces or parts.
4. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons,
do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other
liquid.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any electrical appliance
is used by or near children. Do not leave appliance
unattended.
6. Turn off the power switch and unplug from outlet when
espresso/cappuccino maker is not in use and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before
cleaning the appliance.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug
or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged
in any manner. Contacting qualified technicians to repair or
replacement, if any.
8. Do not operate appliance when water overflow tray and grill
are not in place.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Keep power cord away from heated parts. Do not let cord
hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in

a heated oven.
12. Prior to connecting or disconnecting plug from wall outlet,
turn off the power switch.
13. Do to use the appliance for other than intended use.
14. Connect the appliance only to an earthed mains safety socket.

with that of your mains supply.
