Menu Options
Introduction
This chapter details the main menu options of the IP-KVM. The menu buttons on the left hand side
of the main screen allow you to navigate Keyboard, Mouse and Video settings; configure the
network and serial port; access the KVM console; set up users and use Virtual Media.
5.1
Remote Control
The Remote Console is the redirected screen, keyboard and mouse of the remote host system that
the IP-KVM controls. The Remote Console window is a Java Applet that tries to establish its own
TCP connection to the IP-KVM.
Starting the Remote Console opens a new window displays
screen movement of host system, with its size automatically
adjusted to optimum. Keyboard and mouse are redirected to
control the host system simultaneously. A slight delay may
present depending on the bandwidth of network.
