Effect of Metal behind RF Tags (Reference)
The V680-D1KP54T communications distance is reduced if there is any metal material behind the RF
Tag.
If the RF Tag is to be mounted to metal, then use a insert a non-metal spacer (such as plastic or resin).
The relationship between the distance from the RF Tag to the metal surface and the communications
distance is shown below.
The V700-A80 Attachment is 8 mm thick.
