Data Communications
The connection type is 1:1 or 1:N. In a 1:N installation, up to 32 units, including the host computer can be connected.
The maximum total cable length is 500 m.
Use a shielded twisted pair cable 0.3 mm

Use a resistance of 100 to 125

(1/2 W) in the terminators. Install terminators at both ends of the transmission path, including the host computer.
To connect to an RS-232C port on a computer, use a 232C-485 converter.

RS-485 Communications
To communicate with multiple KP100G Units, you can connect them to a personal computer via RS-485 ports. The maximum cable length is 500 m.
RS-485 allows communication with up to 31 Units.
RS-485 communications require a cable of the appropriate length and a personal computer installed with monitoring software.
Baud rate is 9,600bps or 19,200bps. Default value is 19,200bps.
