Connecting and Checking Vision Sensor and Robot Controller
Follow the procedures below to connect the Vision Sensor and the robot controller and
to check the connection status.
5.3.1.
Verifying Ethernet Communication (FH Series Vision Sensor)

Connect the Vision Sensor and
the robot controller with LAN
cables.

Move the mouse cursor to
lower left of the window to
display [Start]. Select [Start]

[All Programs]

[Accessories]
-
[Command Prompt] to launch
[Command Prompt].

Execute PING command to the
IP address of the robot
controller.

When 32

byte data could be
successfully sent/received four
times as shown in the figure on
the right, that means that the
communications have been
established and the wiring and
settings of Ethernet is correctly
done.
