The following tables show the relationship between unit versions and CX-Programmer versions.

CX-Programmer version 8.0 or higher is required to use CJ2H CPU Units (CJ2H-CPU6

It is not necessary to upgrade the version of the CX-Programmer if functionality that was enhanced for the upgrade of the CPU Unit will
not be used.

A Programming Console cannot be used with a CJ2H CPU Unit.
Device Type Setting
The unit version does not affect the setting made for the device type on the CX-Programmer. Select the device type as shown in the following table
regardless of the unit version of the CPU Unit.
