To avoid the overheating of Datalog X-Pro caused by solar radiation directly over

it, it is recommended to install the device vertically and at the shadow of the

solar panel (See figure 4-2).

Make sure that the IP67 protection of the the Solar Panel or the Datalog X-PRO

does not get affected or impaired by the mounting.
