Sensor Names
Each sensor has a name. The default names for the outputs are created based on the value being measured.
The default names may be overwritten, such as ‘Room_Temp’ or ‘Oven_Temp’. Names are restricted to 16
characters.

The Sensor names are retained until a factory reset occurs.
It is strongly recommended that:
1) Spaces within the name should be replaced with the ‘_’ character.
2) All sensor names on a particular device are unique – if duplicate functions are supported append a ‘_x’
string, where x represents the instance. For example,
Temperature_1
and
Temperature_2
could be used if
2 temperature devices are present.
