How to use
1. Your electric blanket should be placed directly onto the mattress with the power
lead near the edge of the pillow. If using a mattress protector this goes over the
electric blanket.
2. Ensure that the electric blanket suits your mattress- i.e. a King size electric blanket
must be used on a King size mattress. Do not use a Single Bed blanket on a Double,
a King or a Super King size mattress. Nor use a Double, a King or a Super King size
blanket on a Single Bed mattress.
3. At each corner of the electric blanket, there are attachments for elastic tapes to be
used so as to secure the blanket (tapes not included). After laying the electric blanket
flat on the mattress, you must pull the tapes down to surround the mattress corners in
order to secure the blanket firmly to the mattress.
4. Its size is such so as to provide even warmth for the whole bed surface. The
blanket should not be tucked in at the sides.
5. When securely attached to the mattress, connect the plug to the power point and
switch on. The flexible cord and switch must be kept outside the bed and away from
open windows or exposure to moisture.
6. It is recommended that the cord switch is set to either position '2' or '3' for 15-20
minutes before going to bed and then can be turned down to setting '1' or off
altogether depending on your own requirements whilst in bed. Double size version
has dual control, which enables the users to set their sides of the bed to their desired
heat setting.
IMPORTANT
Check daily that your blanket is flat, fully spread out and secured before
switching on.
Failure to observe these instructions will cause overheating.
