In case of internal error, the output is cleared in both modes. Obviously, the output is
cleared when dryer is switched off.
5.9 Timer drain
There must be a filter at the inlet of the dryer. This filter removes condensed water, droplets
of oil etc. from the air that enters the dryer. This is necessary to keep desiccant fit for the
job. The water that collects in the filter housing must be discharged. The job can be done by
manual drain, which is quite an obligation for operator. Instead, an automatic or electronic
drain can be used. Besides, the dryer can control one electromagnetic valve to discharge
condensate by itself. It operates as timer drain. Additionally, the dryer does not operate this
valve in standby mode. Contrary to stand alone timer drain, no compressed air is lost during
standby this way.
