Unlock the FOOTSWITCH connector (on the side marked “FOOTSWITCH”) on the
foot switch cable by pulling the lock toward you, and then disconnect the connector
from the terminal on the foot switch.

Unlock MICROSCOPE connector (on the side marked “MICROSCOPE”) on the foot
switch cable by pulling the lock toward you, and then disconnect the connector from
the foot switch terminal on the surgical microscope.

Turn on the surgical microscope again by pressing the power switch. When the
surgical microscope is turned on, press one of the switches on the foot switch until it
clicks. Then confirm that the communication status indicator lights up (green).

If the communication status indicator flashes, there is a potential that the pairing is not
completed successfully. In this case, restart the procedure from Step 1 above.
