TIP
The display image can be zoomed for an enlarged view of the observation object.
Tapping the up button of the [ZOOM] button
will zoom (enlarge) the image up to five times.
To zoom back to the original image size, tap the down button of the [ZOOM] button.
·
Images are zoomed using the “digital zoom" function. Therefore, the image may
become slightly coarse at higher zoom factors.
·
The zoom function is not available during the spot ranging. Tapping the [ZOOM] button
during the spot ranging will change the measurement position of the object distance.
For details, refer to “
Measurement position of the object distance” (page 82).
TIP
The [BRT] button is used to adjust the brightness when changing the overall brightness of the
live image during observation.
Tapping the up button of the [BRT] button brightens the overall image and pressing the down
button darkens it.
While a live image is displayed, you can switch to the long exposure mode by setting the [BRT]
(brightness level) to Level 10. This function is effective to display a higher level brightness than
normal when viewing a very dark object, etc.
However, the image may be blurred under certain observation conditions.
