LCD monitor viewing problems due to fingerprints and dirt
Wipe the LCD monitor with a soft cloth moistened with clean water. Then, lightly wipe it with a
clean and dry cloth.
· Never use a chemically treated cloth or strong detergent, such as benzine or
alcohol. Otherwise, the surface of the LCD monitor may be damaged.
· Do not use a cloth that is hard, dirty, or has foreign substance on it. Otherwise,
the surface of the LCD monitor may be damaged.
NOTE
If the main unit is dirty, wipe it with a soft cloth moistened with clean water. Then, lightly wipe it
with a clean, dry cloth. Also, wipe the dirt and water droplet completely from the battery cover,
inside of the connector cover, connection area of the remote control unit and the main unit,
and the connection area of the scope unit and the main unit.

Cleaning of other units
During cleaning, take care not to bend the spring shaft into a small curvature
radius or apply an excessive force to the hook.
Remove the hook assembly by reversing the procedure steps described in section
“3-10 Attaching the hook assembly” (page 36).
If the hook assembly is contaminated by soil or oil, wash it away with a cleaning fluid
such as neutral detergent, rinse well and dry completely.
