End of Service Life
The CO alarm automatically detects and signals the end of its useful service life.
In this case, the CO alarm issues three short acoustic signals every 30 seconds. The fault
signal LED (2) flashes accordingly. The CO alarm continues to operate without any limita
-
tions during this period.
When the CO alarm indicates the end of its service life, replace the CO alarm
immediately.
CO Alarm Function Test
Complete a function test of the CO alarm at regular intervals - at least once a month.
1
Press the button (4) for about 1 second. The CO alarm issues four short acoustic
signals interrupted by a pause of 5 seconds. The alarm signal LED (1) flashes accord
-
ingly.
If the function test indicates that the CO alarm is not working properly, there is no
guarantee that the CO concentration is being monitored adequately. Replace the
CO alarm immediately in such cases.
If several CO alarms are linked in a network, the other CO alarms in the network also
issue the corresponding acoustic signals. The operating signal LED flashes according to
the acoustic signals.
