Changing the Battery
If you hear two signal tones, it indicates that the batteries in a CO alarm are almost emp

ty. Change the battery in the CO alarm concerned within 30 days.

Remove the CO alarm from its fitting.

Change the batteries (observe correct polarity!).

Replace the CO alarm on the fitting.
When the CO alarm is connected to an alarm system, the alarm system base unit also
indicates low battery power in the display.

On completing the work, initiate a function test on the CO alarm.
