TROUBLESHOOTING
Type FAQ Probable Cause and Solution
Startup
Cannot startup.
1. The connection cable of the power adapter is loose.
Solution: Check the power adapter cable and, if
loose, plug it in again firmly.
Check that the power unit is functioning correctly.
Check that the switch behind the machine is ON
position.
2. Main board is damaged.
Solution: If no problems have been found in relation
to the possible causes listed above, then the
mainboard must be damaged. Replace the
mainboard.
Clock
No time /Clock not working/Time
cannot be saved.
1. The one-off 3.0V Li-battery (or gold capacitance
battery) does not have sufficient charge or the
battery is damaged.
Solution: Check if the one-off 3.0V Li-battery (or
gold capacitance battery) on the main board is in a
good working condition, otherwise replace it.
2. The control circuit of the clock is not functioning
properly.
Solution: Replace the mainboard.
Setting
Incorrect parameters / Anomalous
function execution.
Parameter settings are not correct.
Solution: Refer to the User Manual for the correct
settings.
Communication
(Mother Board)
Communications not working/
malfunctioning.
1. Data communications cable is badly connected.
Solution: Check the data cable and port
connections making sure that they are connected
correctly.
2. The communications circuit is damaged.
Solution: Replace the mainboard.
Communication
(I/O board)
Communications not working/
malfunctioning.
1 Data communications cable is badly connected.
Solution: Check the data cable and port
connections making sure that they are connected
correctly.
2. S/W parameters (such as data port or baud rate)
are incorrect.
Solution: Check how the S/W parameters are set,
correcting any that are incorrect.
3. The communications circuit is damaged.
Solution: Replace the I/O Board.
Video TFT Video TFT dark
1. The video TFT is failed.
Solution: replace the screen TFT or the cable
LVDS.
2. PC Board is failed.
Solution: replace PC Board screen.
