- Selezionare la posizione in cui non sia soggetta ad accumuli di
neve o di foglie o altri problemi stagionali. Se ciò non è evitabile,
coprire con una protezione.
- Posizionare l'unità esterna il più vicino possibile all'unità interna.
- Se possibile togliere gli ostacoli nelle vicinanze, in modo da evitare
che il funzionamento sia ostacolato da una circolazione d'aria
insufficiente.
- La distanza minima tra l'unità esterna e gli ostacoli descritti nello
schema di installazione può non valere in situazioni di spazi ristretti
con scarsa circolazione di aria. Lasciare aperti due dei tre
passaggi (M,N,P) (fig. 12).

Non installare l’unità nei seguenti luoghi:
- In ambienti con presenza di gas caustico (come per esempio il
solfuro) nell'aria (vicino a sorgenti termali).
- In cucine dove l'aria è satura di gas di oli.
- In presenza di forti onde elettromagnetiche.
- Dove è presente evaporazione di acidi o liquidi alcalini.

- Select the position where it will not be subject to snow drifts,
accumulation of leaves or other seasonal problems. If
unavoidable, cover it with a protection.
- Position the outdoor unit as close to the indoor unit as possible.
- If possible, remove the obstacles nearby to prevent the
performance from being compromised by insufficient air
circulation.
- The minimum distance between the outdoor unit and obstacles
described in the installation chart might not be valid in restricted
spaces where there is a scarce air circulation. Leave open two
of the three passages (M,N,P) (fig. 12).

Do not install the unit in locations where:
- There is caustic gas (for example sulphide) in the air (near a
thermal spring).
- In a kitchen where the air is full of gas from oils.
- There are strong electromagnetic waves.
- There is acid or alkaline liquid evaporation.
