Changing the V Belt
Procedure :

Follow the steps

described in 9-1. “Adjusting the Belt Tension.”

Change the belts.

Gradually tighten the adjusting bolt (described on the previous page) and mark up a point to
where slackness of belt is run out.

described in 9-1. “Adjusting the Belt Tension.”
10.
Replacing the Leaf Chain
Leaf chain extends because of wear of pin or bush. Check the chain extension in the periodical
inspection (every six months), and if the measured dimension is over the allowable dimension,
change the leaf chain. (See the table below.)
