Structure and Assembly of the Body Screener
3.1 Components of the Body Screener
The Body Screener
TM
comprises a stand with extension element and base, sensor unit with
electronics and semicircular truss with sensors and LEDs, motor and gearbox as well as power
supply unit.

Base
The sensors are placed in a non-metallic semicircular truss. The measurement data are sent from
the electronics (sensor unit) via WLAN or USB cable (depending on the model) to the included PC
software. Further information on establishing a connection and operation are found in section 4.1
“Establishing a Data Connection with the PC“ p. 14 and 5 “Operation of the Software“ pp. 17.
3.2 Assembly of the Body Screener
The assembly of the stand as well as the initial assembly of the sensor unit is usually carried out by
qualified and trained personnel. For easy transport, e.g. in case of maintenance, the stand and
sensor unit can be removed/assembled by the user. Please follow the instructions in section 3.2.3
“Assembly of the Sensor Unit“ p. 11.

Do not plug in the power supply until the device has been completely assembled.
