Care and Maintenance
The mountable sensor unit with semicircular truss simplifies transportation and maintenance.
7.1 Cleaning the Body Screener
To clean the Body Screener
TM
, the sensor unit can be moved to the lower position (controlled via
software). Unplug the Body Screener
TM
before cleaning. Carefully remove dust with a dry cloth.
Contamination can be carefully removed with a damp cloth.
If the Body Screener
TM
requires maintenance or service, the sensor unit can easily be dismantled.
7.2 Maintenance of the Body Screener
Maintenance should be carried out by qualified and trained personnel only. The sensor unit can be
easily dismantled for this purpose. Please refer to the notes in section 3.2.3 “Assembly of the
Sensor Unit“ on page 11.
According to the current state of the art, maintenance should be repeated every 500
measurements. One measurement includes the zero adjustment as well as the complete body
measurement.
The number of measurements until the next maintenance can be checked in the menu

. The window that opens (see figure 24) also shows the serial number (S/N) of the
device, that must be quoted in case of service requests.
