Chapter 3 Maintenance & Disassembly

3.2.02 Ribbon Protector Assembly

1. Open the printer access cover.

2. Remove the ribbon cartridge.

3. Set the head gap adjusting lever to the range 9 position.

4. Lift and remove the ribbon guide from the two posts.

5. Remove the two mounting screws (1) and detach the ribbon protector (2) by lifting.
