Setup Items in PDL Settings Menu
PDtF (PlotDataToFile) Parameters
The PlotDataToFile function converts plot images into TIFF or PDF files when the
images are printed with the Printer, and then saves them in the Printer's PDtF box
or a shared folder on a computer.
Up to 1000 TIFF image files can be saved in the PDtF box with a maximum capacity
of 39 GB. When this number is exceeded, files are deleted from the oldest. Files are
also deleted when the PDtF box retention period expires.
Files stored in the PDtF box can be accessed using the WEB functions or
TerioStation (exclusive application).

This parameter sets the PDtF function.

Print + image conversion
PDtF is performed. Plot images are converted into TIFF
files and stored in the PDtF box when printed.
Image conversion
PDtF is performed.
Plot images are converted into TIFF or PDF files and stored
in the PDtF box or a shared folder without being printed.

File Naming Rules 1 to 4
This parameter specifies the naming rules for the TIFF data files stored in the PDtF
box. The following settings are available for the naming rules 1 to 4.

File naming rules are not used.
Date and Time Created
Uses the date and time of the data creation for the file
names.
File Name
Uses the file name of the print data for the file names. Set the
host character encoding parameter to an option different
from Not Specified when using naming rules parameter
with a method other than the printer driver connection.
User Name
Uses the login name of the user logged in the host
computer when the print data was sent for the file names.
Host Name
Uses the name of the host computer from which the data
was sent for the file names.
