Sending A Fax to a Group
When would you use a group? Let’s imagine that you must
send a weekly status report to all of your co-workers on the
team. Using the group feature allows you to send the one
report to all of the co-workers’ locations.
!
Faxing to a group is different from relay broadcasting.
In relay broadcasting, one fax is sent to a remote
machine. The remote machine then relays the fax to a
group of fax numbers.
What is a Group?
A group is a collection of programmed locations. Once you
have programmed some One Touch keys or Auto dial
numbers, you can use these programmed locations to create
groups. Using groups, you can easily send the same fax to
multiple locations. You can program up to 10 groups, each
having up to 90 numbers.
What is an example of a group? Let’s imagine that you
work with a team of several co-workers. Each co-worker is
at a unique geographic location. You have programmed
each co-worker’s fax number as a One-Touch key. Your
group would be the collection of all of the co-workers’ fax
numbers.
