4.2.5.11  Guide Eject Assy / Color Register Assy / Board-PRY

(1)  Detach the left side cover, right side cover, rear cover, and top cover assembly. (See Sub-

sections 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.2.5.2, and 4.2.5.6.)

(2)  Remove the print engine controller PCB, control PCB, and low-voltage power supply. (See 

Subsections 4.2.5.4, 4.2.5.5, and 4.2.5.10 (3).)

(3)  Unplug  the  connector  of  the  belt  thermistor,  remove  two  spring  torsions 

,  and  disas-

semble cover driver 

 by freeing the four claws with the flat-tipped screwdriver (Tool No. 3). 

(4)  Remove screws (silver)  , and unplug the six connectors to disassemble Board-PRY  . (Tool 

No. 1)

(5)  Remove two screws (silver) 

, and disassemble color register Assy 

. (Tool No. 1)

(6)  Remove three screws (silver) 

, and free cable 

 of the fuser I/F connector from the clamp. 

Then, release the claw of guide cable   by sliding it, and remove guide eject Assy  . (Tool No. 1)
