Multi-functional DC inverter air/water heat pump
GB
The unit is a monobloc air/water heat pump.
In a monobloc, all required components are included in one single unit. The heating circuit
system of the building is directly connected to the heat pump. Installation and connection
are very simple so that the system can usually be put into operation within a few hours.
The unit provides five different operating options:
• Space cooling
• Space heating
• DHW heating
• Space c DHW heating
• Space h DHW heating
The capacity of the heat pump adapts fully automatically to the respective heating
requirement by means of a DC inverter. Defrost programmes for the heat exchanger are
activated fully automatically. OEG domestic monobloc heat pumps are supplied as ready-
to-connect units designed for outdoor installation. The refrigerant R32 with the GWP
value 675 contained in a hermetically sealed circuit is one of the most climate-friendly
and most efficient refrigerants on the market.
The setup and operation of the heat pump takes place via touch-sensitive colour screen
(touch screen). During operation the display is usually not required and is, therefore,
dimmed. After touching the screen, the actual status with the most important settings
is displayed clearly. Users and heating engineers are provided with password-protected
menu structures. The intelligent control provides a great number of information and
setting options.

Important information to avoid damages to the heat pump
• Before water is conveyed through the plate heat exchanger, a filter must be installed.
The water filter should be cleaned after the initial commissioning and after that at least
annually. In addition, the installation of a dirt separator is recommended.
• In colder regions and where ambient temperatures can drop to values of 0 °C or lower,
there must be sufficient
antifreeze (glycol) in the water system of your heat pump for
safety reasons. See chapter 3.6 for more information.
• In order to ensure the integrated electrical frost protection function is still active, the
heat pump must always
remain connected to the power supply. In case of a power
failure and not enough antifreeze (glycol) has been added to the water system , the
water must be completely drained from the heat pump. Freezing water in the pump can
damage the heat pump seriously.
The installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of the appliance must only
be carried out by a specialised technician. This person is responsible for the compliance
with all valid regulations during installation and initial commissioning. The appliance must
be installed completely and operated only with all safety devices. Protect the unit from
dust and dirt during the construction phase.
