3.11 Upper and Lower Wire Harnesses Replacement
1. Unplug the unit and remove all shrouds.
2 Remove the four (4) Phillips screws securing the console to the mast assembly.
3. Unplug the connector from the back of the console.
4. Pull the upper wire harness down through the mast assembly and unplug it from the top of the frame (Figure
3.20).
5. Plug the new upper wire harness into the top of the frame and into the console, listening for the click to ensure a
good connection.
6. Power on the machine and verify that the console is working.
7. Unplug the connector from the back of the console.
8. Drop a string or a wire down through the mast assembly, tie it to the cable assembly, and thread the harness up
through the mast (Figure 3.21).
9. Plug the new upper wire harness into the console, listening for the click to ensure a good connection.
10. Secure the console to the upright mast with the four Phillips screws.
11. If required, plug a new lower wire harness at the top of the frame (where it connects with the upper harness),
allowing the old lower wire harness to dangle (unplugged).
12. Follow the old lower wire harness down the frame (Figure 3.22), unplugging the old wire harness and plugging in
the new one at three connection points: controller board, servomotor, and speed sensor (not shown).
13. Once the new wire harness is connected, cut the zip ties and remove the old wire harness.
14. Plug in the unit and test.
15. Use zip ties to secure the wiring new harness to the frame.
16. Replace all shrouds and secure with shroud screws.
