TRANSFER.EXE
Support Command
PURPOSE:
To transfer files to or from the 4010 over a
serial port.
SYNTAX:
TRANSFER filepath [ /S | /R ] [ /Bb ]
[ /V ] [ /COMc ]
PARAMETERS:
filepath specifies the file pathname to send or
receive.
SWITCHES:
/S specifies to send the file.
/R specifies to receive the file. This is the
default.
/Bb specifies baud rate of transfer where b
can be (300, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200,
38400, 57600, 115 (115200)). The default is
9600 when using a /COMc switch. If COM1 is
the console, the baud rate defaults to the
current console baud rate.
/V enables the display of “R” when a block
(128 bytes) is received, or “T” when a block is
transmitted.
NOTE: Do not use /V when COM1 is the
console device.
/COMc specifies the serial port to use. c can
be 1-4. The default is 1.
EXAMPLE 1:
To send a file named
C:\MPC\DEMO\DEMO.EXE on the 4010
when using COM1 as the console, enter the
following command:
TRANSFER D:DEMO.EXE
