Electrical connection
9.3.6 Connecting the DHW
The indoor unit is fitted with a 3-way switching module for
switching between the DHW circuit and the heating circuit.
When configuring a DHW charging pump, take into ac
-
count the internal pressure differentials in the plate heat
exchanger. (See page 46

»
Make the appropriate connections from the DHW flow
and DHW return on the indoor unit to the DHW tank.
9.4 Connection for refrigerant safety pipe
The indoor unit is fitted with a refrigerant safety pipe.
By extending this pipe with a commercially available
high-temperature pipe, the required minimum size of the
free floor space of the installation room can be reduced.
If the refrigerant safety pipe is routed to the outside, the
requirements regarding minimum area of clear floor space
in the installation room do not apply.
»
If required, use an appropriate high temperature pipe
to extend the refrigerant safety pipe or to route it to
the outside.
1 Refrigerant safety pipe
2
High temperature pipe (Ø 50 mm)
If the refrigerant safety pipe is not extended, the 90° pipe
bend supplied must be fitted.
»
Fit the 90° high temperature pipe bend.

»
Seal off the pipe with the insect grille supplied.
10. Electrical connection
10.1 General
WARNING: Electrocution
Before commencing electrical connection and
installation work, the heat pump system must be
isolated from the power supply.
WARNING: Electrocution
Work on electrical connections and installation may
only be conducted by qualified contractors.
WARNING: Electrocution
Before commissioning, the necessary fault pro-
tection measures on the system and the earth
connection must be checked by a qualified con
-
tractor.
»
Before commencing work to connect up the power
supply, the necessary activities defined in section
“Preparing the electrical connections” must have
been completed.
»
For the electrical connection, use the system princi-
ple schematic appropriate to your heat pump system.
(See page 51, System principle schematic)
