Completion and commissioning
12. Completion and commissioning
OCHSNER Customer Service or an authorised customer
service partner must be requested to complete and com-
mission the system. Commissioning appointments must
be requested at least 2 weeks in advance.
12.1 Requirements
Before commissioning, the system installer must ensure
the following points:
►
The machine-specific engineering and installation
information has been observed (system installed ac-
cording to OCHSNER standard hydraulic schematics
or an OCHSNER special hydraulic system).
►
The minimum area of clear floor space in the installa
-
tion room for the indoor unit has been observed.
►
For air/water heat pumps:
- The outdoor unit has been correctly installed
and bolted to the foundation.
- If there is a snow cover, it has been correctly
installed on the outdoor unit.
1. The heat sink system is fully ready (heating and
DHW heating).
►
The hydraulic pipework has been correctly dimen-
sioned and installed so that the required flow rates
can be set.
►
The heat sink system has been flushed, filled and
vented according to the relevant standards.
►
System fill water of a quality compliant with the rel
-
evant standards (e.g. VDI 2035) is assured.
►
The operating pressure has been set (0.8-2.0 bar).
►
The system temperature or the buffer tem
-
perature must be at least 15°C at the time of
commissioning.
Note
If the minimum system temperature or the buffer
temperature is not achieved, then the refrigerant
charge cannot be set correctly. Non-compliance
with the minimum system temperature or the buff
-
er temperature will lead to commissioning being
cancelled.
»
If appropriate, provide a preheater on site.
►
The necessary safety devices are in place and
have been adjusted and checked according to sys-
tem requirements.
►
A DHW tank is present and has been filled for
commissioning.
►
All shut-off valves have been opened, adjusted
and checked.
►
The flow meters installed on site have been
checked for correct function.
►
The system has been hydraulically balanced.
2. The heat source system has been prepared.
►
If hydraulic pipework is fitted on the heat source
side, it has been correctly dimensioned and in-
stalled so that the required flow rates can be set.
►
The necessary safety devices are in place and
have been adjusted and checked according to sys-
tem requirements.
►
The wall conduit has been properly sealed.
►
In the case of air/water and direct evaporation/
water heat pumps, if the laying of the connec-
tion lines has been contractually agreed by
the system installer:
- The refrigerant lines between the indoor and
outdoor units have been correctly routed in
accordance with refrigeration engineering
guidelines.
- The refrigerant lines have been correctly
channelled through the wall conduit with some
surplus length between the connections at the
indoor and outdoor units.
►
In the case of brine/water heat pumps:
- The system pressure and addition of frost
protection additive (between -12°C and -15°C)
have been assured.
-
The heat source system has been flushed,
filled and vented according to the relevant
standards.
►
In the case of water/water heat pumps:
-
All filters have been checked and cleaned.
- The water quality is in accordance with OCHS-
NER guidelines.
Note
OCHSNER accepts no liability for damage (e.g. to
plate heat exchangers) caused by poor water qual-
ity.
3. The electrical installation has been completed.
Note
Temporary electrical installations are not permissi-
ble and will lead to commissioning being cancelled.
►
Electrical connection and installation work has
been carried out and completed in accordance
with national and regional regulations.
►
Tests in accordance with national and regional
regulations have been carried out (e.g. test report
for electrical systems)
