Saving Wavelength Calibration Coefficients: Serial Mode
If you are interfacing the S2000 Spectrometer or S1024DW Spectrometer to your PC via the serial
cable, you need to save the wavelength calibration coefficients to the
.spec
file that OOIBase32
accesses each time it opens.
Note
: You cannot save the calibration coefficients to the EEPROM memory chip on the
ADC1000-USB when using the serial mode.
To save wavelength calibration coefficients using the serial mode:
1. Open OOIBase32 and select
Spectrometer > Configure
from the menu bar.
2. Choose
the
Wavelength Calibration
tab to update the wavelength coefficients within
OOIBase32.
3. Enter in the values you acquired from Steps 5-6 in the
Calibrating the Wavelength of the
Spectrometer
section.

4. Click on the
Apply
button, then click the
OK
button.
