Loading paper into the large capacity unit
Follow the procedure described below to load paper into the large capacity unit LU-301 and LU-204.
The same procedures can be used to load paper into the large capacity unit LU-301 and LU-204. The
following procedure describes how to load paper into large capacity unit LU-301.

Load the paper into the tray.
% Lift up the paper take-up roller, and then load the paper so that the surface to be printed on faces
downward.
% Do not load so many pages that the top of the stack is higher than the , mark.
% The large capacity unit LU-301 can be loaded with up to 3,000 sheets of plain paper.
% The large capacity unit LU-204 can be loaded with up to 2,500 sheets of plain paper.
% For details on the number of sheets of thick paper that can be loaded, refer to chapter 12 of the
User's Guide [Copy Operations].
