6.4 Queue Management
Because a printer's color capabilities are not monitored, queue management is not an
option. Color applications will be printed in B&W if the printer is not equipped with color.
B&W applications will be printed B&W even if the printer is equipped with color.
6.4.1 INK Catalogs
The current version of the LCDS-Module provides these INK catalogs:
• DFAULT
• XEROX
The Xerox1 and SDFLT$ color catalog are gracefully ignored but not supported in the cur-
rent version.
Color Mapping
This version of the LCDS-Module offers a total color display of about 30 gradations. 15 of
these are whiteblack gradations and 15 are whiteHC. Color names and corresponding color
samples are in SAMPL_1, a LCDS-Module component.
All HC colors in the subsequent listed palettes are printed in the "alternate color" installed
in the Océ printer.
The following color gradations are available in this version of LCDS ("K" for black, "ALT" for
ALTernate color, and the accompanying numbers for the approximate gray or HC gradient):

Listed below are the available catalogs, their palettes, and the color names of the individual
palettes. It should be noted, however, that all of the listed color names are supported and
are mapped to a total of 15 colors.
