The fire protection duct must be tightly closed to prevent fire from
spreading to the cables or smoke gases from escaping during a cable
fire. Open cable ends are closed off with an end piece suitable for the
fire protection duct.
1. Stick the sealing strip on the front side

of the mounted fire protec-
tion duct.
2. Mount the end piece in front of the end of the duct with at least 4
counter-sunk head screws
