2. Position the appliance on a stable and moisture-resistant surface.
3. Remove the lid from the appliance and pour
water in the container. You may use the
delivered rubber funnel with hose. Fix the hose
to the rubber funnel and press the rubber
funnel against the mouthpiece of the tap as
illustrated. Position the hose in the container
of the appliance. You can now easily fill water
in the container. Remember to remove the
hose from the container before you switch on
the appliance. The water level should be over
the MIN marking on the container to make the
appliance work.
4. If there is not enough water, the display will show the error code E001.
However, be careful not to pour too much water in, as it may overflow,
when the pouch/pouches are later submerged in the water.
5. Plug the switch to a wall outlet.
6. Press the ON/OFF button for a second to switch on the appliance. You will
hear a click and the display will show the temperature of the water in the
container.
Setting of cooking temperature
Press the temperature button. 60° will be flashing, which is the preset
temperature. Set the temperature corresponding to the food to be cooked
(see table further down) by means of the + and the - buttons. The temperature
range is between 30-90°C.
Setting of cooking time
Press the timer button. The display is flashing and shows the preset time
02:00. Set the wanted cooking time by means of the + and the - buttons (time
range 00:00-99:00). After 5 seconds the display reverts to showing the actual
temperature. The cooking can be done without any time limit, if wanted. In that
case, set the cooking time at 00:00 and the appliance will work continuously
until it is switched off manually.
Guidelines for cooking
The table below is a proposal for temperatures that could be used to achieve
the wanted result. The circulator has a temperature tolerance of 0.1°C in order
to adapt to the personal preference. Therefore, we recommend that you try
your way starting with these temperatures.
The table below is valid for raw materials at refrigerator temperature (approx.
+5°C).
