2. Installation and Configuration

2.2.0 Mounting the EasyTrack™ PTZ Dome Camera

Make sure that all the DIP switches are properly configured, and the external connections
all properly connected before mounting the PTZ camera to any surface. The EasyTrak™
PTZ camera is designed to mount on a structural body supporting load of up to 5 Kg.

INSTALLING THE CAMERA HEAD TO THE HOUSING BASE

1. Firmly hold the PTZ camera head as illustrated above.
2. Look carefully at the base of the camera head (PTZ module) and the base of the

camera housing (enclosure) making certain that the 20-pin connector are on the same
side. Rotate the camera head if necessary.

3. Align the latch hooks on both sides of the camera head and at the base of the camera

housing, then push firmly until one hook snaps into place.

4. Snap the other remaining latch hook into place.
5. Once both sides are securely latched on, screw in the lock-screws located at the

adjacent sides of the latch hooks.
