8. Faults and how to remedy them
If these hints do not solve the problem you
can try to clear the fault as follows:
1. Take the battery out of the parent unit.
2. Unplug the mains adapters from their
power sockets.
3. Wait a few minutes.
4. Replace the battery and plug the mains
adapters back in.

contact one of our Service Centres (see

are too far apart, or the signal is
being blocked by solid walls or

Reduce the distance or place the parent
unit somewhere else
Loud whistling
Feedback due to the parent unit
and baby unit being too close
together
Increase the distance to at least 2 – 3 m
Reduce the volume and the VOX level
on the parent unit if you are in the
immediate vicinity of the baby unit (see
"6.8 Using the VOX function to adjust
the transmission sensitivity" on page 40
and "6.5 Adjusting the volume control"
on page 39).
