Before Using the Handset

Connect the AC adapter plug to an electric
outlet

Charging starts and the
illumination lights in red.

After charging completes, pull the AC adapter
connector straight out while pressing the
release buttons

When charging completes, the illumination turns off.

•

Make sure to insert or pull out the AC adapter straight with
the correct side up. Forcibly trying to remove the adaptor
may cause damage.

DC adapter (optional)

The DC adapter supplies power to the FOMA terminal
from a cigarette lighter socket (12V/24V) of a car with
the battery pack inserted in the FOMA terminal.
For details, see the FOMA DC Adapter 01/02 instruction
manual.

Checking Battery Level

An icon indicating the battery level (appears at the top of
the screen.

Note

•

When the power is turned on, you can set the FOMA terminal to
sound the charge start tone or charge complete tone. The setting
of "Popup tone" is applied.→P95

•

You can set the FOMA terminal to charge with the Display
backlight on.→P103

•

While charging, the battery level icon changes in the order of
