Security Settings

[Schedule]

The Schedule function cannot be used until the Terminal security code
is entered.

•

An alarm set for a Schedule event does not sound.

•

Receiving schedule events using infrared communication becomes
unavailable.

[i-mode]

The i-mode function cannot be used until the Terminal security code is
entered.

•

i-mode connections from other than the i-mode menu screen, such
as "Web To" become unavailable.

•

i-Channel tickers are not displayed.

•

Pattern definition for the scanning function becomes unavailable.

•

Receiving bookmarks using infrared communication becomes
unavailable.

•

Communication from i-αppli is available.

•

i-αppli update is available from i-αppli menu.

Automatically Locking Key Operations

You can set the FOMA terminal to automatically lock the
Keypad to avoid being used while the FOMA terminal is
closed and left for a certain period without any operations.

： Lock the Keypad after closing the FOMA terminal or

leaving it for 3 seconds from the last operation with
the terminal closed.

the terminal closed.

After 10 sec.

： Lock the Keypad after closing the FOMA terminal or

leaving it for 10 seconds from the last operation with
the terminal closed.

： Lock the Keypad after closing the FOMA terminal or

leaving it for 15 seconds from the last operation with
the terminal closed.

When LCD off

： Lock the Keypad when closing the FOMA terminal or

turning off the display with the terminal closed.

Auto Key lock is activated after canceling the Keypad lock.

If "OFF" is set, the Keypad lock is not activated even when the
FOMA terminal is closed.

Keypad lock is not activated while functions such as 1Seg,
Camera, or Music playback (except BGM playback) are in use.
