Grilling
Place the Raclette grill in the centre of the table. Cooking time will be reduced if the meat is cut into
small pieces beforehand. Slice the meat into small pieces and serve on either a plate or wooden
board. Your guests can then help themselves to as much meat as they choose for grilling on the grill
plate. Additionally, it is possible to roast bread or potatoes, fry eggs, grill or cook all kinds of fruits as
well as many other things with the small Raclette pans. Sauces, salad and/or baguettes can be served
with the grilled meat.
Raclette
Raclette is a speciality dish indigenous to Switzerland. To obtain best results use with the original Ra-
clette cheese. Use around 150–250 g for each person. Cut the cheese into slices (about 2 mm thick).
Boil the potatoes in their skins and keep them warm in a covered dish, alternatively lay the cooked
potatoes on the grill plate to maintain their temperature. Centre the appliance in the middle of the
table. Place the cheese in the Raclette pans and leave on the heating element for 3–4 minutes. Once
the cheese has melted and has attained a golden brown colour, it can then be spread across the ap-
propriate prepared dish or over the boiled potatoes. Then add a hint of freshly ground pepper. Cured
ham or the Swiss speciality ‘Bündner-Fleisch’ (an air-dried meat), pickled onions or gherkins and a dry
wine are great accompaniments for Raclette.
Pizza
In order to create crispy and delicious pizzas, use the upper switch to control the top heating element
and the lower switch for the bottom heating element. Turn the control to its maximum setting.
Tip 1: In order to be perfectly prepared for your pizza party, we suggest preparing an adequate number
of mini-pizza-doughs in advance. Separate each pizza dough with a sheet of baking parchment to
prevent them from sticking together.
Tip 2: Turn the pizza in the pan or move it around within the appliance so that it is cooked evenly all
over.
