9. After charging, check the electrolyte level (A)
again. The level should be approximately 1 cm
from the bottom of the fill--port (B) (Figure 20).
Add distilled water if needed. DO NOT OVERFILL.

MACHINE MAINTENANCE
To keep machine in good working condition, simply
follow daily, monthly and quarterly maintenance
procedures.
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing
machine, stop on level surface, turn off machine.
WARNING: Electrical Hazard. Disconnect
Battery Cables Before Servicing Machine.
ATTENTION: Contact an Authorized Service
Center for machine repairs. Machine repairs
performed by other than an authorized person will
void your warranty.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
(After Every Use)
1. Inspect spray tips for proper spray pattern:
a. Pull out vacuum/drive circuit breaker button,
located at rear of control console.
b. Lower brush/pick--up head and remove
detachable spray bar from brush base. Do not
disconnect bar from quick coupler. Raise
brush after removing spray bar (Figure 21).
c. Turn on main and pump switches.
d. Rotate control grips and observe spray
pattern. Pattern should fan out evenly across
the width of the spray bar.
e. Clean or replace defective twist-out spray tips
if necessary (See MONTHLY
MAINTENANCE).

2. Drain and clean out the recovery tank.
3. Remove and clean the float shut--off screen
located in the recovery tank (Figure 22).

4. Drain the solution tank and rinse out the inside
with hot water, 60
°
C (140
°
F) maximum
temperature, as needed.
5. Clean the machine with an all purpose cleaner and
damp cloth.
FOR SAFETY: When cleaning machine, do not
power spray or hose off machine. Electrical
malfunction may occur.
6. Remove inline strainer filter and rinse out. Make
sure solution tank is empty before removing filter.
Filter is located under machine at rear (Figure 23).
