8. Set the bus address select switches to a unique address for the SELECT and

Caution:
All modules on the External bus must use a unique address. A bus con
-
flict and the system communication failure occurs when two or more modules are
set to the same address.

9. Connect AC mains power to ERD 1 and 2.
10. Turn ON the laser and both ERDs. Check that the SELECT is available in the
Device Selector panel of CONTROL (see
).

accessories
If additional accessories are to be connected to the SuperK laser External bus,

Connecting additional accessories
1. Remove the bus defeater from the
Bus Through
connector on your current
system. This is the last accessory module in the External Bus daisy chain.
2. Using an External bus cable, connect the
Bus Through
connector from the
last module to the
External bus
connection of the newly added accessory.
3. Repeat step 1 for each new accessory.
External RF Driver: 1

SELECT module:
Bus address = 0
