Lower Hopper

When the hopper lift lever is moved to the “lower” position, the 

Hopper Lift Cylinder Valve

 connects both ports 

on the 

Lift Cylinder

 to the return lines going to the 

Reservoir

. This effectively creates equal pressure on both 

ends of the 

Lift Cylinder

 to allow the hopper to lower under its own weight.
