1. Installation or storage location
Keep the following conditions in mind when selecting the
installation location to prevent malfunction and adverse effect on its
precision.
•
Install in a place free from vibration.
•
Avoid installing in a place exposed to direct sunlight.
•
Install in a place with little dust and dirt.
•
Select a location having a temperature from 0 to 40°C and a
relative humidity of 60% or less. If installed or stored in a location
subject to high temperature and humidity, mold or condensation
may form on the optical parts, resulting in lowered performance
and possible damage to the instrument.
2. Handle gently
The microscopes is the precision optical instrument. Handle them
carefully and do not subject them to strong physical shocks.
3. Combination with other accessories.
•
P-FLA2 fluorescence attachment is only to be used together with
the stereoscopic microscopes SMZ1500, SMZ1000 and SMZ800.
•
The intermediate-tube-typed accessories (such as the coaxial
episcopic illuminator, drawing tube, teaching head, beam splitter,
eyelevel riser, etc.) cannot be used together with the fluorescence
attachment.
•
If the fluorescence attachment is to be mounted on the SMZ1500
or SMZ1000, use the binocular eyepiece tubes P-BTL or P-BERG
since the binocular eyepiece tube P-BT causes vignetting at the
viewfield periphery.
