6. Always keep four filter cubes in the fluorescence
attachment
Always keep four filter cubes in the fluorescence attachment. If
you leave any of the cube mounts empty, strong light may enter
and damage the user’s eyes at the time the filter cubes are
switched. When the number of filter cubes needed is less than
four, use the supplied dia-filter cube to fill up the empty cube
mounts. Be sure that all four mounts in the fluorescence
attachment are always occupied with filter cubes.
7. Turn off the lamp when exchanging the parts.
Turn off the lamp before exchanging filter cubes, objective or
eyepieces. If the lamp is left on, you could be exposed to
dangerous ultraviolet rays.
