Management & Viewers
There are 3 levels of permissions associated with a NIGHTWATCH
®
accounts (Administrator, Manager, Viewer).
Role
Permissions
Administrator*
•
Add horse(s) and device(s) to your account
•
Change (transfer and restore) who is the Manager of your horse(s) and/or device(s).
•
Have same permissions as Managers and Viewers.
•
Only
1 Administrator
per horse and/or device is permitted.
Manager
†
•
Enable, disable, and set alert thresholds (smart and manual)
•
Add/Remove Viewers of your horse(s).
NOTE
: You cannot add/remove viewers of your
unassigned device(s); devices must be assigned for Viewers to have access.
•
Have same permissions as Viewers.
•
Only
1 Manager
per horse is permitted.
Viewer
•
View horse and device data, alert settings, and assigned Admin and Manager for each
assigned horse.
•
Enable, disable, and select personal alert notification preferences.
•
There are
unlimited Viewers
permitted for each horse and/or device.
* When you add a new horse or add/activate a new device, you are considered the Administrator (Admin) for that horse and device.

Manager permissions for horses/devices are denoted by the ( ) icon on home screen.
NOTE
: All Managers and Viewers must have their own NIGHTWATCH
®
account.
To change the Manager:
1.
Select a horse/device from home screen, click on
“Careteam,” swipe left, and select “Change Manager.”
2.
Enter the email of the person you wish to become the Mana
ger for this horse/device and select “Transfer
Access.”
NOTE
: This person must already have a NIGHTWATCH
®
account. If they do not, they can
download this App in the App Store and create a FREE account.
3.
Confirm
this transfer and select “Close” to continue.
4.
Confirm this person is now listed as the Horse/Device Manager.
